Committed to Sustainable Development

About

image001 Sustainable Development – “meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs”  – 1987 United Nations Brundtland CommissionClean Skies was started in 2008 with a focus on the development of Integrated Sustainable Energy Projects.  In the last few years, Clean Skies has pivoted to Sustainability Management and Sustainable Development.

Sustainability is the key to a better future.  The World and the conditions that businesses compete in are rapidly changing.  Mother Earth is at between 150% – 200% of carrying capacity and is Striking Back:  Increased severity of droughts, wildfires, tornadoes, hurricanes and other natural disasters; declining population and species of wildlife, scarcity of resources, increased food insecurity population  labor shortages and uncertainty and changing financial climate.

Clean Skies embraces the Three Pillars of Sustainability: Environmental, Social and Financial. In the present world we not only rely on a robust financial capital system but healthy manufacturing capital; human capital; social and relationship capital; intellectual capital; and natural capital embodied in the Three Pillars of Environmental Stewardship, Social Justice and Economic Prosperity.

Clean Skies is focused on filling a pressing need – A cost effective approach to Sustainability for Small to Medium Enterprises(SMEs).   Using  proven methodology adapted by the International Finance Corporation of the World Bank, and lessons learned  from years of Project Development, Clean Skies team and our collaborative partners provides a “Roadmap” to SME’s.

Our strength is developing complex, integrated projects requiring unique implementation and commercial/financial strategies. Different from advisory companies, Clean Skies follows the Covey mantra, “Begin with the end in mind”, and provides and end to end solution for the implementation of the selected strategy.

Creating a sustainable planet can reverse this devastating downward spiral, and allow the Blue Marble to Thrive
